TEGMA's Educational Initiative

TEGMA is entering the fourth year of it's Educational Initiative. In 2020 the TEGMA Board decided to partner with Agriculture Future of America (AFA) to invest in the future of agriculture, and specifically the grain marketing industry, by supporting students with academic scholarships and sponsorships to attend AFA's Leaders Conference.

In 2022 the TEGMA Board agreed to broaden their support through a new partnership with Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences (MANRRS). At matching levels, TEGMA now supports three scholars through AFA and ten scholars through MANRRS.

TEGMA participates in each organization's national conference with a booth, extolling the benefits of careers in grain marketing at their career expos. Additionally, the TEGMA scholars will be invited to attend TEGMA's Fall Symposium in Kansas City to meet with members.
